Hello! I'm Mitchell Narvasa, a husband, father of five, and a Catholic speaker with a passion for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the beauty of the Catholic Faith. I hold a Master’s in Catechetics and Evangelization and a Bachelor’s in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping others encounter Christ through clear and faithful teaching.Over the years, I’ve spoken to people of all ages, including youth, parents, and parish leaders, in classrooms, parishes, retreats, and conferences. My goal is simple: to communicate the truth of the Catholic faith in a way that is led by the Holy Spirit, never watered down, and deeply personal. For over a decade, I served in parish ministry as a Youth Minister and Pastoral Associate, walking with people through the joys and challenges of discipleship. That experience continues to shape how I speak and serve, with a heart for the Church, a love for souls, and deep trust in the Holy Spirit. In addition to speaking, I currently serve as a Ministry Success Coach with the Augustine Institute supporting parish leaders across the country in their mission to evangelize and form disciples.
IGNITE is designed not simply as a series of talks, but as a parish-wide moment of awakening that invites real interior conversion by the power of the Holy Spirit and new, or renewed, missionary zeal amongst your faithful. Through lively and dynamic speaking, reverent and holy music, and opportunities to encounter our Lord in the Sacraments...
...IGNITE aims to:
- Awaken in your flock a hunger to know and be in union with God, perfect for seekers and active disciples
- To IGNITE a desire for holiness and illuminate the path given by Jesus for pursuing it
- Spark renewed sacramental participation parish-wide
- To call all the baptized to their missionary vocation and offer concrete first steps for living it personally and as a parish.*Music and sacramental offerings are optional but strongly recommended.
Below are some of the main topics I have spoken on. I’m also happy to speak on any aspect of our Catholic Faith, including John Paul II's Theology of the Body, Apologetics, the Spiritual Life, Our Blessed Mother and the Saints, the Sacraments, and everything in between.
This talk reveals the Sacrament of Marriage as more than just a contract, but as a covenant with the unique and powerful ability to bring the hope of Christ’s life-giving love to our wounded world—especially to the souls we encounter in everyday life.
This presentation is a powerful talk for anyone praying for a loved one who has left the faith, or for any or for any Catholic seeking to lead others back to Christ. Through stories of suffering, redemptive love, and the virtue of patience, you’ll discover how God works through your pain, prayers, and witness to reach even the most hardened hearts. You’ll also learn practical ways to draw souls more deeply into the heart of the Church.
So many still don’t realize the unique mission of the laity: to evangelize and sanctify the secular world. Too often, this responsibility is seen as belonging only to clergy or paid Church staff. This presentation is designed to ignite a fire in the hearts of your entire community—volunteers or not—to boldly and courageously live out their mission as the laity.
Hear the powerful, life-changing story of Mitchell’s parents, a journey that has moved thousands of hearts. From unfaithfulness and divorce to conversion, reconciliation, healing, and forgiveness, their story is a testament to the mercy of God. It reveals how the Father’s arms are always open and how no one is disqualified from the mission and purpose the Lord has entrusted to us. This talk continues to be one of the most requested and impactful messages Mitchell shares.
This talk explores the sacred calling of parents to form and raise their children in the faith. Rooted in God's creative plan, it highlights how the home is the first place where disciples are made. Mitchell shares key principles for raising faith-filled, holy children in a world that often opposes what the Church teaches.
Our Church today is often caught in a tug-of-war between the left and right, leaving many Catholics confused, disillusioned, or divided. In this talk, Mitchell addresses three common pitfalls from both sides of the spectrum, then offers a faithful, grounded path forward rooted in Scripture and Tradition. With clarity and charity, he invites listeners to step away from reactionary extremes and into the heart of Catholic truth, where love and orthodoxy are never at odds.
Every human heart longs to be seen, known, and loved. Drawing from the Theology of the Body and the wisdom of St. Augustine, this talk explores the deep desire within us, not as a weakness but as a roadmap to God. “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” In Christ, we are fully known and radically loved. This talk invites listeners to rediscover their identity and find rest in the only love that truly satisfies.
Mitchell is happy to speak on any topic related to the Catholic faith. Whether you’re planning a parish mission, youth event, leadership retreat, or conference, he’s ready to serve your unique needs. From theology and evangelization to pastoral ministry and practical formation, Mitchell will work with you to craft a talk that fits your audience, whether it’s parish leaders, families, teens, or the whole parish community.
